Originally from Cape Cod, Michael LePine came to the Boston area to instruct and compete in aerobic sports. Due to a foot injury, he had to take a break from high impact activities and was referred by friends to the Pillar House. "Great schedule, great environment and the food product is excellent. I enjoy working here very much". Although Michael's aerobic fans miss him, he has cultivated a new fan club here at the Pillar House.

Aime Rock is one of the newest servers at the Pillar House. For the last four years, she has been a manicurist by day. "It is a big part of me to help others and make people laugh. I feel the same way toward the people I serve and work with at the Pillar House."

Ayoub El Fougani came to the Pillar House three years ago as a guest. After hearing many good things about the Pillar House, he decided along with some friends to come and experience it. "The place was immaculately clean. The servers were neat and very polite and the food was superb in both presentation and flavors... serving dinner only... no smoking... no weekends... these are a few of many other things that attracted me to apply for a job. Shortly after I started working at the Pillar House, I discovered the secret that makes this establishment so special. The staff, the managers and the proprietor are always discussing ways and thinking of ideas that can help to provide a more enjoyable atmosphere where our guests can relax and savor the chef's creations."

After this quote, is there any doubt why Ayoub was voted Employee of the Year? Ayoub also works at the Lower Falls Wine Company. He has been a member of their team for almost three years. Ayoub says, "There are many similarities between the two businesses, both are family-owned operations. The main focus is the satisfaction of their patrons."
